Providing the opportunity to give thanks
Idaho Celebrates with Gratitude
2015 Celebration of Gratitude
An opportunity to enjoy some good-ole country music and a chance to give a little back to our community was held on August of 2015. The local band "The Bottom Line" opened the event, warming up the audience with music for dancing and listening for the 200 people who attended.
We were then treated to featured guest; Marty Haggard, son of legendary country music icon Merle Haggard. On his first trip to Idaho, he entertained guests with stories and songs of his father as well as his own original songs.
The generosity of those who attended filled the "boot" with several thousands of dollars. All donations went directly to New Meadows Food Bank and to MCPAWS Regional Animal Shelter.
The success of this first celebration of gratitude is why the gates are open once again for an annual fundraising event. Please join us on August 6th, 2017, as we celebrate gratitude for all we have!
2016 Celebration of Gratitude for MCPAWS
100% FUNDRAISER for MCPAWS
GENERATES over $13,000.00 for the dogs and cats of Adams and Valley County.
Marty Haggard, oldest son of the late Merle Haggard, returned to New Meadows! He brought with him his life-long friend and well known Nashville/Bakersfield guitarist Eugene Moles. Marty brought to life true country music in an acoustic performance. His stories and his songs entertained and inspire all who came. His performance was an amazing tribute to his dad, and for all things country.
We thank you for joining us for a fun-filled evening!
